BiennialBearring of Apples

Thanks for the link. The information is correct, although they have explained in in a novel way. The large crop small crop syndrome is called biennial bearing an it has not been completly breed out of modern apples. All commercial apple, and to some degree pear growers struggle with this issue. The perfect situation would be to have fruit on every second fruit spur while the others rest. I am interested as I am in the middle of writing an post about fruit thinning for my web site.
Thanks, please let me know how it turns out. Stay safe.
